Making a Donation

Al-Anon Family Groups is fully self-supporting through members’ contributions. If you are not a member, then we thank you for your kindness but respectfully decline your donation.

Firstly - can you Gift Aid your donation?

If you are a UK Tax payer you can ‘Gift Aid’ your donation and allow us to claim a further 25p for every pound you give.  Regular, occasional or one-off donations are all eligible for Gift Aid.

Please read the Gift Aid declaration below carefully and tick the box if you qualify.

Group, District and Area donations must not be ‘Gift aided’ using an individuals’ name, as this is tax fraud.

I am a UK Tax payer - please Gift Aid my donation.  I have read and agree to the Gift Aid Declaration below*.

gift aidFamily Groups Ltd is a registered charity and therefore is able to take advantage of the Government supported Gift Aid scheme. This scheme allows us to claim back 25p from the Inland Revenue for every £1.00 donated. Tell me more about Gift Aid

* Gift Aid Declaration: I would like Family Groups Ltd to treat this donation and any donations I make in the future as Gift Aid donations until I notify you otherwise. I confirm that I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.
